What really gave me the fuel to jump back into this blog was my friends. My friends had been talking about making blogs to spotlight their writing abilities, but I never knew they had actually followed through. I recently discovered that they had, in fact, made the blogs that they were talking about so I figured that I might as well pick this back up. I had thrown this blog off to the side and completely forgotten about it but my desire to out blog my friends gave me the gumption to pick this back up and dust it off.
I don't want the fact that I got inspired to reinvent my blog from my friends to give the impression that I did this to hop onto their blog bandwagon. What their blogs really did were just remind me that I had this and that it wasn't in such great shape the last time I had seen it. I like to consider myself passionate about writing and I feel that this is an amazing outlet. I'm not big on creative writing because I feel that, that area of my writing could use some improvement, but I love writing about what I think, and what's going on in the world around me. You see, what I love about writing is nobody can tell you that what you're writing is wrong. I've noticed that writing is pretty much subjective, and all you really have to do is talk your way around whatever point you're making. The more you say something with conviction, it becomes true. The fact that you can do that seems amazing to me. Growing up, I was always wrong so knowing that I can make myself at least sound right, makes me feel amazing. I hope to be able to do a lot with this blog. I plan on putting my heart and soul into every post I produce, so I hope everyone, if anyone, that reads this likes what they see.
